Designing: Once the layout (planning) is frozen by client designing take the front seat. Creative ideas are the most essential medium for expressing designs. While designing designers also consider the material which according to him will do justice to his designs.
Material selection: After planning & designing is done, material selection is to be done. Designers have considered materials in his designs. While the selection of material designers has to ensure that the selected material fits into clients’ taste & very important budget. Here designers’ visualizations skills are tested.

Site supervision: Very crucial stage & can be said as the heart of the interior decorating stage. Supervision includes quality check, providing instructions to contractors, check the work completed & track the performance of the project on the parameters of time & budget. It is the most complex but very interesting part of complete project management. Interior decorators require a very special tact & training of getting work done.
